    Hi jamawass,

There is nothing like trying it out ;) . Create a full bootable rescue CD then create a TI image of your system drive(s) from within Windows. Use the Check Image Wizard to verify the image after its creation. After that, use the bootable CD to boot into the Linux based rescue environment and go through the process of restoring the image up to, but not including, clicking the Proceed button. If everything, including the RAID array, is detected correctly up this point then the full version of TI should be good to go. Note that the trial version isn't fully functional in that it doesn't allow you to restore your active system partition.

    Regards

    Hello jamawass,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

When Acronis True Image is running under Windows, then it works with all the hard disk drives detected by the operating system. If Acronis True Image is running in rescue mode (e.g. to restore the system partition), then the following RAID controllers are supported:

    - P-ATA (IDE) RAID controllers (Promise, Highpoint)
    - Most of SCSI RAID controllers (Adaptec, Dell, LSI and others)
    - SATA RAID controllers (Highpoint, Intel, Promise, Silicon Image, VIA)

Some other RAID controllers may be supported as well, although we have not tested them yet, and the others will be supported with the future updates.

Please make the all operations described by Menorcaman with the trial version to be completely sure that the software works fine on your computer.

    Thank you.
