Does Quick Heal now uses Bitdefender Engine?

    Its been using Bitdefender signatures for a few years.

    Thanks @roger_m & @mood . @true indian how do you know about this? Are the engine files signed by Bitdefender? I can find no such information from official source by Googling...

    sg09 check the files of Quick Heal, you'll find a lot of BD stuff.

    what about firewall component? I think they where using Agnitum .

    Also it seems really dumb to just use BD in one of your products this reduces the effectiveness of the other product as compared to the one which uses it.

    Also most people in India have the qk antivirus product not total security or anything.

    I would still stay away from this program anyway.They have improved their BB and URL blocker but the signatures remain average.
