    I havent noticed it.

I did notice some problems with P2P with both Zone alarm and EZ firewall but never anything with outpost.

Yes. Every firewall will slow down the connections, but I didn't notice...

The default settings are ok for me, and I only use the Attack Detection plugin...

You can try to disable the Logging, in Tools menu, to see if Outpost will use less resources...

WS as I stated in the above post
that is the same as with Outpost running and without
    Outpost running!
I could post the same speed test .gif on both test
    but seems a little redunant.

I'm running the latest version of Outpost Pro on a 10 MBPS connection. On a large single threaded download, I can achieve speeds of over 11 MBPS. So the answer is no! I have a feeling that others experiencing slowdowns are having other issues not related to Outpost.

i think that just like an antivirus such as KAV, people can have different results on their machine when using outpost. i mean outpost is kinda known for BSODs but have i gotten any? no.

you may also try 'turning' off
the log feature, will not affect the great job
Outpost does just may give you that extra speed :)
