Does OA FREE now have local proxy support
(I know it is included in their paid version)?
It was promised by Mike Nash many weeks ago.

Last answer from Tallemu to you was October 16, 2007 3:12 AM, and after that no more response from you.
That is what I can see now and excuse me on beforehand if I am wrong. :)

I did enquire again in the looong Online Armor Free thread (on Dec20).
In any case, I'm still no closer to an answer (unless you happen to know).
    Thanks for any info :)

Thanks MaB69. I appreciate your taking the time to respond.
I hope this proxy support gets added soon (to benefit Proxomitron users like me).

    Hi Soccerfan

You realize when added it may just be added to the paid version. Something you might want to consider.

Why not open a feature request in OA forums?
    http://support.tallemu.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=14

In my opinion this local proxy support (Intercept Loopback Interface) is a basic feature for every firewall, not an exclusive one.
There is no proper workaround for OA Free users, if they like to use latest NOD32, Avast, Proxomitron.
Either OA Free or proxy. :'(
    Or am I wrong?

To be honest, I must admit that I don't use NOD32 v3 even with OA paid, because I can't stand it's proxy. :p

    Cheers

    Hi Pete,
My understanding is that it has always been available in the paid version.
Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

You may well be right. I don't use any proxy stuff. I see where Mike said he will do it, which means he will. It's a matter of priorities. Right now it's clean up a few nit issues, and Vista. For obvious reasons, things to be added to the free version will probably be a lower priority.
