The question comes from one of my customers.
I guess it looks similar to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=123053
In that case the real cause was never found, but that was also COM port communication.

Therefore, I would like to know in what way NOD32 scans this datacommunication.

IS this AMON only at file writing/reading/modifying, or is ther someting more

Simply put, the issue in the thread you have referenced (and activesync issues) are generally just issues with inter-process communications. The network stack (or winsock) is a perfectly valid way for applications or application modules to communicate with oneanother. This is also where IMON is plugged in.

Does NOD32 scan the datacommunication? I think not unless the application uses network traffic to communicate (which it well may)

AMON is just for Open / Execute / Create so far as file acces goes.

    Cheers :)
