I am considering trying out Nod32 4.x for 30 days and would like to know if someone can confirm that Nod32 download engine scans all downloads for its program like for example signature files and also program updates and features ? The reason that I am asking is because my connection is not secure however I do believe that the server that host these updates on the Eset server are sercure.

    Any feedback would be appreciated

Update files are digitally signed so the process of updating is secure.

If the Real-Time File System protection is turned on and set to scan on File Creation, the update files that are created should be scanned.

Unless there is a built-in hidden exclusion that is excluding update files.

Disable smart optimization and try again.
