    They dropped the AUFS dependency? Awesomeness. Compatibility stuff has IMO been one of the major barriers to Linux adoption; Docker could actually do something about that. Never mind providing an additional layer of isolation.

    BTW, I've thought from time to time of implementing something like this with user-mode Linux (UML). Last time I tried, the UML images turned out a bit huge to be practical... Still, I'd be interested in any advice on the subject from those of you who know UML.
