Hi, I recently paid for SBIE which unfortunately does not work with Trusteer Rapport.

With Avast IS(all except Sandbox which is disabled) and MBAM, should I need anti-keylogging software as I understand that whether or not the browser is in the sandbox, keyloggers still would have access until deleted ?

If this would be desirable, is there one software which stands out above others for denying access to keyloggers

    Thanks

    Andy

Spyshelter is about as good as your going to get but with what you have so far you shouldn't need it. I see you have Sandboxie which is an excellent application for fully protecting the integrity of your computer. Key Scrambler will protect your important documents without having to add more Antispyware..

Personally i would go for Key Scambler because if by chance a keylogger did manage to sneak by your defenses they wouldn't be able to decipher that code.. all the same you just might want to have a few more members weigh in on this.. ;)

    Thanks..

  7. I would go for Keyscrambler, nice application. But I will suggest having a clean system image around, that's the best defense. If you've been compramised nothing will be as affective as a format and re-image.

BufferZone works with Trusteer Rapport if you really wanted to sandbox.

To give a quick answer it would IMHO be yes.

As to which product is "best" I don't know BUT I use KeyScrambler Premium.

You don't really need anything else. Just carry out your sensitive online transactions with a new browsing session after the sandbox has been deleted or just use SafeZone.

But if you are still looking for an app, I would go for Spyshelter.

    Well thanks Folks

I have Keyscrambler free edition functioning at the moment and I have also installed Spyshelter on a trial basis to see how well it performs and if it creates any conflicts. All OK so far though.

Don't know anything about Spyshelter BUT if it is doing what Keyscrambler does then you may have a potential conflict twixt the 2 products.

    Thanks Escalader.

As far as I understand they perform different things. Spyshelters monitors for attacks from keyloggers etc and Keyscrambler encrypts the text you enter into browser searches and the like so it cant be copied as keyed.

Havent noticed any conflict or slow down at all.
