    Howdy,

About 6 weeks ago, I used Reatogo to created a bootable XP CD with True Image Workstation Version 9.1 on it.

About 2 weeks ago, I switched over to Echo.

Must I make a new bootable CD, or can I use the 9.1 CD if I need to do a restore of an Echo image.

    Sincere thanks,

    Kenneth

Although it is not advisable to use older restore CD's for TI, in your case because you're disk is based on a Microsoft OS, the only downside should be any new functions that are in Echo. I can't recall any new functions and Acronis haven't changed the image format for the corporate versions (unlike TI 11) so you should be safe!

    Hello all,

Thank you for using Acronis Disk Backup software

Please note that it's not guaranteed that Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation will be able to restore an image created with Acronis True Image Echo Workstation and it's recommended to recreate Acronis Bootable Rescue Media (or your custom bootable CD) with new version of the software.

    Thank you
