DNS Request Question

    hi guys i don't know to much about how firewall works and i have a question and hope maybe some of you can help me Whit this

    I'm trying now Outpost firewall, and some times for example i want to update SWare Blaster the fire wall ask me something about DNS Request i allow it cause i fell i can trust that applications

    my question is, is OK to allow DNS Request on thus applications, like SBlaster, Ad-ware etc, or should i supposed block it?

    yes its ok to allow them. DNS is used to translate host names to IP addresses.
