Displaying username/password involuntarily

    Sorry I omitted to thank Tarq57 for his/her posting last month. My IE7 settings are and were as kindly displayed.

    You have run 'all' the malware scans and a HJT log ?
    Check Autoruns, ProcessExplorer ??
    In safe mode.

    ?? some malfuctioning keylogger utility or mal ??

    Strip all your utilities out, repair install??
    Reinstall ??

    Hey; if all else fails and your HD is in fact truly possessed by M$ demons.
    (I've heard that can happen.)
    get Linux ;)

    Thanks again Longboard. Some of what you suggest is a bit over my head.

    AVG Internet Security - always bang up to date and the paid-for PrevxCSI reveal no malware.

    Yesterday's Microsoft updates have not stopped the problem.

    My workaround is either to sandbox IE7 or use Firefox or Opera browsers. I uninstalled Safari 3.1 immediately on Microsoft's warning and with no apparent update from Apple.
