Dispelling FUD About Ubuntu

    I liked it too. Everything he said is SO true. He put into words what I've felt for a long time. Linux, as a whole, owes Ubuntu a lot.

    I'm a little late to the thread, but I always find it amusing why some people hate ubuntu with a rabid fanatasism (sp). I realize that ubuntu isn't everyones cup-a-tea, but still. If a person doesn't like the distro, then don't use it.

    The same would hold true for any of the other "mainstream" OS's. I don't like either one of them, and certainly wouldn't go out of my way to "help send their kids to university" by financially suporting them, but I wouldn't picket outside someones door, if they used them either.

    Excellent article.

    Only for talking about real FUD (and not what some people with an agenda consider FUD), it already deserves points.
