Disk Director Suite 9/533 Media Builder error burning CD

*Disk Director Suite 9/533 Media Builder*

I wish to make a bootable CD. I have 3 CD drives in my machine, 2 of which can burn CDs. I can successfully build a 6 set of floppy disks.

When I select either of the CD burners I get this error from Disk Builder:

"Error burning bootable CD-R/CD-RW"

The burners both work fine with Nero.

What might the problem be?

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

Please uncheck the "Enable Cd recording on this drive" box in the "Recording" tab (to get to this tab please right click on the CD-drive in "My computer" and choose "Properties").

If this does not help, please try the following workaround.

- Eject any disc from the burner prior to starting the program;
- Proceed until the program asks for a disc;
- Insert a disc and then click the OK button to close the tray automatically.

Also please try to boot Windows in Safe mode (press F8 button when Windows starts up and choose boot into Safe mode) and burn the CD after that.

I just had the same problem getting error messages
regarding of being not able to burn on CDR.
When I unchecked the box for ENABLE CD RECORDING
in RECORDING section under PROPERTIES for device you are using everything worked fine. Thank you Ilya for a helpful advice. Using build 534 for DDS9.
