On Mar 8, I upgraded from EAV3.0.667 to .684. My license is good until 7/28/2010. Under .667 I think once I had an expire date showing on the main window or in the about dialog it was sticky. with .684 it comes and goes. I haven't had any problems with updates. My system is WinXP Home SP3 fully patched. Is the Expire date supposed to come and go??

    Hello,

I am having the exact same problem you are! Happens on EAV 3.0.684.0 on XP and EAV 3.0.669.0 on Vista. Are there any solutions / reasons for this to happen?

    Regards,

    Mark.

I would upgrade to Version 4 and use "Verify license validity" from the help menu.

Which does not work for me. The server exp01.eset.com cannot be reached. Traceroute is OK, but the validation tool does not work.

I get the same. "Please enable access to exp01.eset.com" etc.

Did it work for you before at some time?

This feature does not temporarily work. However, it does not affect the ability to download or update the software. If you don't know the expiry date, you can have your license details resent via www.eset.com or contact the distributor you purchased the software from.

    Hi dorgane,

this feature curently does not work. It's a problem on ESET's side. They will fix it eventually.
