o_O I can't open search engines because, according to the latest update, I didn't contract a "malicious bug" but a worm. I can't open my "hosts" file to delete it or do any of the other things instructed by msn to correct this problem. Any suggestions? I have downloaded Spybot and Spywareblaster, but that's for the future, right? I'm doing what I can to prevent this happening again, but what can I do to fix the problem the worm has caused now?

    Hi SportyBuilt!

    Welcome to Wilders! ;)

Can you give us a bit more info on how you came to be aware that you are impacted by a worm?

Has any scanner positively (or speculatively) identified it? If so, what was the identification?

Can you please download and run DCS's AutostartViewer from

    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/downloads/asviewer.zip

Go to the "Main" menu and make sure that all three top options are selected and then press "Save" and then copy & paste the results here for us to review.

    Thanks!

    Dan
