[Tiny Desktop Firewall 2005 Pro v6.5.126]

is it possible to turn off logging in this prog?

why? well it just keeps creating log files telling me what utorrent is doing when I already know what utorrent is doing. utorrent is doing a lot of stuff, and that translates into HEAPS of log files.

I have managed to limit the problem by using
"Delete log files older than n days"
    (found in Settings/options)
and setting it to one, but that still leaves a heck of a lot of log files.

I tried setting n to zero thinking that might disable logging but all it does is crash the computer when firewall goes to delete the log files. :doubt:

IF it's not possible to turn logging off, what about telling it to send all log files to NIL: (or whatever the pc equivalent of 'nowhere' is) by modifying its registry entry for where to save the log files?
(if it has a registry entry for that)

    any ideas would be appreciated

-while I've been writing this, seven meg of log files have been saved...

    I worked it out myself..

    use regedit and navigate to this entry;

    My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tiny Software\Tiny Firewall\Auditing

    (Default)....REG_SZ..........(value not set)
    Enabled.....REG_DWORD....0X00000001 (1)
    History......REG_DWORD....0x00000001 (1)
    LogDir.......REG_SZ...........C:\Programs\Security\Tiny Firewall Pro\Log\

modify 'Enabled' and set it to zero (0)

then reboot and tiny firewall pro will not create any more log files!

    :D
