Disable balloon-tips

Does this Ewido setting apply to ewido antispyware only
or to pop-ups of all other applications / windows as well ?

I'd like to disable the Ewido AS update, upgrade notifications
using this setting, but don't know if some Ewido-foreign
balloons will be also switched off.

 

It will turn balloon tips completely off, not only the ones from ewido.

That's not very good in my opinion. A single program option should not turn off a global setting unless it clearly states that it will disable the global setting. I do not feel that this setting should disable global balloon tip settings. It should only stop the balloon tip from AVG AS. Balloon tips are used by many programs and users may wish to see other program's balloon tips.

 

No, about the AntiSpy tool... Of course, the option "Show notification when an update is installed automatically." does only control the balloon tips of the update process
