for those of you that take allot of digital pictures, which program do you use to view or modify your pics and why? i just got a new digital camera not too long ago, and i been using psp 8.1, but was wondering what would be a good alternative? of course reasonably priced would have to be a factor.
For everday viewing and minor editing (crop, red-eye etc); -Microsoft Office Picture Manager -Picasa (v good at red-eye) Other stuff, fancy or otherwise; -Microsoft Digital Image Pro -PSP 9 -Photofiltre -Irfanview Olympus Dig Camera came with its own SW too; -Camedia Cheers, Brad PS. Uguel's thread here has a wealth of information.
And for viewing, organizing, sharing my pictures Picasia is the best. You can get it for free at this address: picasia
A lot to choose from, but I primarily use Paint Shop Photo Album. Keeps my pictures together in one place and you can modify images like red eye removal, panorama, batch conversion, slide show, searching and so on ... Further more for viewing, modifying: - IrfanView - PhotoFiltre - SnagIt - PSP9 and of course Picasa which is free.
