Differential Backup hangs/crashes

Hi,

So far have not had any problems at all with Backup and Recovery Free 11, until I tried to do a differential backup for the first time the other night. I went through the prompts and selected the base archive (just started using B and R the other week and only made one full image backup so far, so that was the only archive avail to select). After selecting folder to save differential backup to in my USB3.0 external seagate drive, program begins to back up differential but always freezes around 35%, and the read/write speed, the read/write and completion progress stops, and I always have to kill it with task maanger. Is this a common problem that anyone has had? If anyone has any advice, would be much appreciated, thanks!

 

I would recommend upgrading to the newest edition which has bug fixes, which may resolve your issue, but the issue you are specifying, I have never come across, are you using any type of USB hub to perform this?
