    Hi...

My dif backup has been working flawlessly for months and all of a sudden it won't work. Says "completed but with errors". Code #5(0x640005).
This is driving me crazy. Does anybody have any thoughts about a fix?

I just upgraded to True Image 9.0 Bulid 3854 thinking that may be the cause but it did no good. Still says "completed but with errors".

    Thanks!

try disabling extra non-Microsoft services/processes or apps that are not needed and then try running it.
anything thing you changed (extra programs, etc) in your computer before and after it used to work>?

In case anyone else has the same issue and can use this info, here's the latest from Acronis tech support. Waiting for tomorrow's response.

~Private communications removed per the Terms Of Service. - Ron~

I did the above and sent the log file to them. Then.......

    ~Removed~

I did the above and my memory passed 100%. Waiting for their response....

If you want to insert in a post the info from a Tech Support reply, you have to remove any references to original sender (email address, name, etc) or they tend to delete the entire text and not just the id.

You can also just rewrite the reply in your own words.

    Hallelujah!! :D

It was my mistake. I inadvertently checked "files and folders" in the backup wizard when I was making a differential backup. You must check the "disks and partitions" box (the same as the full backup) and then select "differential" in the next screen. Now it works once again and I'm happy! Acronis live chat pulled me through! Thanks Acronis!

    :D
