is it with TrueImage possible to make an image of a 250GB hard disk and to restore this image on an e.g. 750GB hard disk?

    Hi IBK,

I would add that you will need to resize the original partition(s) during the restore in order to use the full capacity of the new hard disk. Check out the link under the sub-heading "Wilders Security threads on common True Image problems and solutions > Resize Restored Partitions" in the forum sticky titled <Product Links, FAQs & Useful Forum Threads>.

    Regards

    Hello IBK,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please notice that you can resize partitions during the restore process. You can learn more from the chapter "Restoring disks/partitions or files from images" of the respective User's Guide.

    Thank you.
