Use to be a big fan of Kevin and Nancy controlling BoClean but it seems problems with it are never the fault of this flawess software, lol. http://forums.comodo.com/comodo_boclean_antimalware/boclean_locks_up_in_system_tray-t10310.15.html but yet it seems people do have a bit of a problem with just a test program one of it's owners posted. http://forums.comodo.com/comodo_boclean_antimalware/anti_trojan_test_test_your_comodo_boclean-t10690.0.html .Now it seems there is no answer, read reply #11, http://forums.comodo.com/comodo_boclean_antimalware/boclean_shuts_down_everytime_it_blocks_a_trojan-t10720.0.html

This is the problem, http://forums.comodo.com/comodo_boclean_antimalware/boclean_shuts_down_everytime_it_blocks_a_trojan-t10720.0.html. What do you people think after reading these threads?

    No program is flawless.
With BOClean being freeware now I wouldn't be too upset with program flaws. There are other freeware choices available.

Isn't that how it always workso_O As soon as you SAY everything is running perfect, that's when it all goes wrong!!! roflol... As a side note, one of the links posted failed-told me to log out and try logging in again, and failed againo_O roflol... Trying to cover up booboo gets more people caught, just ask my kids!!! (CBoC 4.24 has worked fine for me, but their forum is terrible for "fan-boyism")

There were two occasions when I had conflicts. Once with ATi's catalyst control centre and another with Democracy player. Kevin sorted the problems.

I suppose you have proof to back up the allegation you make that it was BOClean and not the other programs that was at fault?

No software can be flawless on every single computer in the world, but software like Boclean, Shadowprotect, IFW/IFD and FDISR (FDISR had one light hickup a couple of years ago though) have been flawless on my computers, does that count?

...if so how much do you take for [...] :p

I installed BC version 4.24 as soon as it was released. So far it has run without any problems (flawlessly). For a new version of an app, the volume of problems is quite low compared to other apps who release new versions, and their forums are plagued with the wailing and gnashing of teeth for weeks.:)

I was reluctant to change versions. Due to a lack of 64bit support from many security software vendors I was pretty much forced to. Have had only 1 problem which was a FP. This was promptly taken care of with in 12 hours after posting on their forums, then submitting the file requested.
side note; After repeated (failed) attempts at fixing the problem myself = repeated alerts by BOClean I never experienced a single BOClean crash.

    no software is flawless.
i had some problems with the 614 kaspersky build.
admitting to problems and fixing them in a timely time frame is what counts.
paragon and diskeeper helped me fix a few small problems with there apps.

i haven't had any problems with BOC 4.24..

sometimes people have problems with various programs, but often it is not a problem with the program in question, but some other program that is causing the problem..

in the case of BOC 4.24, i think that maybe one cause of the problems that people were having was because there were problems with BOC 4.23 and, to make things worse, the uninstaller for it did not work right, so i think that what happened is people installed BOC 4.24 without first properly uninstalling BOC 4.23 (since BOC 4.23's uninstaller didn't work right, people would have to be careful to make sure that it was properly uninstalled, one way or another)..

after the problems with BOC 4.23, kevin took a lot of time to make sure that BOC 4.24 worked properly before releasing it..
