"More than 500 hackers were offered up to $50,000 to hack into a database protected by a special computer chip created over the past six years by a professor and grad students at U of M. None of them succeeded... Not one of the cyber security researchers was able to break into Morpheus because the computer chip changes its coding when it senses an attack... The UM chip, named "Morpheus", was put to the test from June through August in a competition called FETT (finding exploits to thwart tampering) from the U.S. Department of Defense... Morpheus changes its coding every 100th millisecond whenever it senses an attack, making it almost impossible for a hacker to have time to learn its technology... Because of Morpheus' success in thwarting the hackers, experts plan to turn the chip into a commercial venture..." https://www.govtech.com/education/h...chigan-build-an-unhackable-computer-chip.html
100th millisecond? That's an odd way of saying every 10th of a second or .1 second. Odd too since the U of M website says it happens "twenty times per second" or once every .05 second. Anyway, this is good news AS LONG AS performance does not take any significant hit.
Hey Bill, is wilders not big enough to include in your signature? The article says 1% overhead, so pretty good.
I visit many sites every day. It is not that Wilder's is not big enough. It is that that profile text limit is not big enough.
