Why is it always popping up and why is it always in use even though Port Explorer isn't loaded??

Perhaps a mod can move this to the port explorer forum. I posted it here because I didn't even think in had anything to do with port explorer as I only used it once.

After installing Port Explorer that dll is always active, even if you don't have the GUI up or minumized.
You should grant Port Explorer access to internet in your firewall.

Hi suave, DCSWS2.dll loads on windows start up, If you have version 2 of PE to verify that it is the correct file navigate to windows\system32\dcsws2.dll, right click on it and select propertises Size on disk should be: 57,344 bytes Version: 2.0.0.0

If thr above is OK OP should be given the always allow option.

So that dcsws2.dll can do it's job it has to inject itself to every external connection / process, you will find that your email client, your browser and your firewall etc. will all be using dcsws2.dll

    HTH Pilli.
