Device Connect/Disconnect Sound

    Sine I Upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro, every so often I hear the Device Connect Sound, and almost Immediately the Disconnect Sound. This happens at least dozens of times a day, and I have no Idea which Device is Connecting and Disconnecting, It happens in less than a second so I'm not getting any popup to tell me what it is. I'm thinking of Disabling that Sound, but I'm still wondering what could be causing this o_O It never happened with Windows 8, just 8.1 :doubt:

    DVD+R,

    Are you using an Asus motherboard with AI Suite software?

    OK, I had something similar due to the USB keyboard. Resolved after AI Suite was uninstalled and reinstalled. But mine only occurred as Windows had completed loading. Obviously different from yours.

    Found the Problem! CorsairLINK2 Not Compatible with 8.1
