Deutsche Telekom to offer firms 'clean pipe' against hackers

    Given the emphasis on protecting against "hackers", this sounds like Deutsche Telekom inviting companies to allow it to MITM their Internet traffic. I'm reminded of the "US plan calls for more scanning of private Web traffic, email" thread (https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=344065) which discussed the US doing similar things for "cybersecurity", and potential implications for government spying. I wonder if this could be part of Germany's effort to enhance their own cybersecurity and surveillance system.

    Merkel can't be too impressed with DT privacy claims.
