Hi... I have been running a trial version of NOD32 for the last two weeks. I just recieved my licience /purchase code and I was wondering where I could find the version # ?? Also I put in the user ID and pass word sent to me and attempted to update my trial version and I the update section says "inactive" at the top.. does that mean i put in the password incorrectally?

Seems to me this happened when i first attempted to get my paid version.

Hey snowbound... Thanks for the screen shot.... ;) Maybe you could help me with one other thing..? when I go into set up and put in my username/pass and hit ok.. is there any way to tell if it was accepted? as I said in my previous post.. when I try to update it says "inactive".. any ideas what I (most likely..lol) have done wrong?

Hey.. snowbound... if it says "inactive" does that mean that it has not taken my info? Maybe I need to restart my computer?

Something is definitely wrong. Are u sure u entered your info correctly?
I never seen this "inactive" when i purchased mine.

I don't know if a restart will do any good but hey, give it a shot.

    ArchAngel,

Did you remove the trial version and downloaded/installed the commercial version?

    regards.

Hi Paul.. No the email I recieved stated that if I had the most recent version(I do) then I should just enter my info... Do You feel that uninstalling and reinstalling would help? I will try it! Can't hurt! Thanks for the help snowbound & Paul... :D wish me luck..lol

I would recommend uninstalling the trial version, downloading the commercial version from Eset (you'll need your license info for that), and install the commercial version.

    regards.

That looks like the answer Paul :D

I just went to eset FAQ and clean install is required.

Couldn't remember if i did that or not when i purchased nod32. :doubt:

    Hey...
I uninstalled and tried to reinstall version 2.. althouth, when i attempted to do so the operation timed out attempting to contact sun.vido.sk.
I then tried downloading version 1 which it let me do...... I did and tried to update to version 2...
After a few seconds it stated that i could not conect to the server....
I uninstalled version 1 and tried again to download version 2 and got the same timed out message.....
I also tried another link to NOD32 and got the error message ...
"connection refused when attempting to contact sun.vido.sk.
Maybe I should wait until Monday and talk with customer support? I'm sure there is a "solvable" problem somewhere ..lol  But I have appriciated your help on this Sunday morning.... :D

    ArchAngel,

What O/S are you using? Are you trying to download from www.nod32.com or from a different server/host?

Let's try to sort this one out - as fast as possible ;)

    regards.

OK. Drop me an email with all the specs (a copy from Eset's email confirming your order included) and we'll take it from there.

I'm going to grab a bite for the next say 3 hours - but I'll be back ;)

    regards.

Hi Paul.. I have been at work since 6pm yesterday... So I have not had a chance to get your email(I can only get it from my home computer's Mail client...) When I get Home at 9am(three hours from now) I will check it out. Hopfully I will get NOD32 downloaded so I'm not "Flying blind". But I do want to thank You and snowbound again for your help. I should also be getting my order/download info From DiamondCS regarding the Action Pack I purchased so, don't be surprised if you see me in any of the DiamondCS forums later today.. LOL
