o_O I made an image and now when I go to restore it I can't. Because the destination disk is all grayed out and it won't let me delete. If I try to resize it just keeps asking me to change disk and nothing happens. What could be wrong.

I know that TI will not let you restore to the same location that contains the image. Unless this is what you are trying to do, can you provide more details regarding the selections you made during image creation, where you stored/saved the image, where you are trying to restore the image to, and the TI selections you are making when trying to restore? Also, did you make and try restoring using TI in Windows or are you using the TI rescue boot disk when imaging and restoring?

    jetedge,

I am by no means an expert on image creation and restore, so hopefully one of the very many knowledgable posters here will be able to help you now that you have provided all the additional detail.

    Hello jetedge,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Could you please provide us with the following information?

    - What exact Acronis True Image version and build number do you use?

You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window.

    - Create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then please submit a request for technical support. Provide the files and information collected in your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
