Demo Version

    Hi,

    I downloaded the demo version of Disk Director and decided that I liked it. So, I un-installed the demo and purchased a full version.

    It was working fine, then I started to get the message that I have the demo version. So, I re-installed the real version. It worked from but then reverted again to thinking itr was the DEMO version.

    How do I fix this?

    Seems like a trip to the Acronis support site at: http://www.acronis.com/my/support is in order. Acronis does not police this forum as often as it does the True Image forum (it has been a long time since your post).

    Trial applications often are difficult to uninstall and at times impossible to uninstall, forcing a reinstall of the entire OS. This is when having a "testing" hard drive (or partition) is a good idea.

    Utilities, such as "Windows Washer" that allow wiping (washing) of all "free space" do at times take care of these "ghost" uninstalls as they remove the files rather than simply marking the files as over-writable.
