I inadvertently created a backup image on the wrong hard drive. Can I merely delete this file and start over, or do I need to do something special with Acronis True Image (Version 7.0)?

Just delete it the same way you would delete a text document or any other file. If you have a large hard drive, the deleted file may just be moved to the Recycle Bin, so you will have to delete it there or Empty the Recycle Bin to get the disk space back.

Of course, you could also move this image to the appropriate drive rather than deleting it and creating a new backup.

I always use Shift-delete so it will NOT be moved to the recycle bin.
