I have elected to complete full backups each time in the Secure Zone. I have check help to delete old backups, which only allows through Managing BAckup locations.

Can I delete prior full backup in the secure zone, if so how.......Mark

Backups are automatically managed in the secure zone on the FIFO principal. The zone does not have a method to permit manual deletion of old backups. In any event they will eventually be overwrtitten as new backups replace them.
If you have too many backups in the zone you could reduce its size to release the space for other partitions.

    Hello 7at7,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that Xpilot is correct. Acronis Secure Zone is designed to be managed only by Acronis True Image itself. It operates on following rules:

    • If there is not enough free space in the zone to create a backup, the program deletes the oldest full backup with all subsequent incremental/differential backups.
    • If there is only one full backup (with subsequent incremental/differential backups) left and a full backup is in progress, then the old full backup and incremental/differential backups are deleted.
    • Otherwise, (only one full backup left, and an incremental/differential backup is in progress) you will get a message about space error. In that case you will have to either re-create the full backup or increase Acronis Secure Zone.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image Home in the respective User's Guide.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.

It is worth noting that for most queries it is not necessary to download and consult the user guide.
The help screens that are accessable from the TI GIU usually contain the information that the user needs.
