I took a backup to VD of my entire system, and have now scheduled an incremental backup to VD script to run daily, using the initial backup as the base version form which to make a new increment. Is there a way to have the process delete the increment from the previous day automatically once the new increment has been finished?

Or an alternative question, is it possible to instead schedule the system to create a chain of increments? When I tried this before the name of the increment to start from was hardcoded in the script generated by the wizard, so the following day the backup would fail as the increment it tried to use to backup from was no longer the final increment in that chain.

Any help with either issue would be much appreciated, thanks for reading!
