I would like to delete files I've already restored from my .tib archive file, but I cannot find any way to do it. Is it possible? Thanks in advance!

Actually, I think I may have just found it. You have to mount it as a drive with read/write privileges. Hope this helps someone else :)

Hrm. Ok. So I deleted the files while it was mounted, but it didn't actually change the size of the archive. It appears to have only made a 2nd archive file that holds the changes made.

Is there any way to PERMANENTLY delete files from an archive? I need to make it smaller.

When you make changes to a read/write mounted image, TI creates a new incremental "image" file.

If you want to actually delete the files from the image, you'll need to restore it to a partition, delete the files and then create a new image.
