    After I unplug an image in TrueImage I frequently get this message above. System is Windows 2000 and TrueImage 9.0, but this problem has been prevalent since 7.0 (and probably earlier still). Has anybody found a way around this that doesn't require rebooting the machine?

    Thx,
    WiZZ

    Hello wizard999,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Please be aware that most likely this problem is not related to Acronis software, but to some Windows 2000 peculiarities.

    According to this Microsoft Knowledge Base article the first thing you should try is to "obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows 2000".

    If that does not help the please collect the following information:

    - Create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post;

    - Where do you store your images?

    - Find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window;

    - Make a screen shots of your consequent steps taken before the problem appears along with the screen shot of the error message you have received.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
