Well even though I did not win thanks Ilya for giving me a chance to possibly win :D I did not really need it because I got a lifetime 2.56 license but I am always worried about how well 2.56 will be doing in 6 to 12 months

I have been a subscriber to DW for the last 2yrs, and was due for renewal in March.

However, with this license win I will not have to pay to renew this year. :)

    Thanks! Ilya.

Are you being serious? Your upset because you weren't randomly picked to win out of 889 people?

Because i wasn't able to win.. I still tried the free gizmo edition v2.56

As it is still in line with DW.. would like to ask a quick question.. if any program which does not go through the so called "treat-gate" will it be flanked untrusted? or trusted?

"Untrusted" are the threat-gates programs and places like browsers, USB flash drives, e-mail and multimedia clients, IM, P2P, VoIP, IRC software. If software do not contact potentially dangerous content, it's in the trusted group.

Thanks Ilya for clarifying this! I'm finally understanding how DW works! Would there be any chance in future versions or option to have DW auto-untrust any program to be run?

Then you need to trust the game launcher for gameguard to initialize properly. Problem with that is some gamelaunchers download other content other than game files to temp folder so if it serves bad content then... :gack: Happened to me once already good thing the resident scanner caught it.

    I suppose, it's too restrictive.

and your plan for x64 is..?

I see no point blaming Microsoft, they provide the OS, companys work within those limits to create their software, you have to play the cards your dealt ;)

Ive grown rather tired of the argument against it,

I think if yourself refuses to work within those limits, its inevitable that 'eventually' your product will fail on the market.
