Check their forum to see if there was any news on the 64-bit version. Nothing, but I did see this:

    http://gladiator-antivirus.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=124209

"I'm going to a small vacation, related with a workshop. So, I'm out of home from 31'th July to 11'th August. When I get back home, I'll publish 3.19 beta version. That's the plan."

I remember reading on their forum that Ilya just needed money to build a hypervisor to bypass PatchGuard, so maybe there's been progress on that, but I'm just speculating.

There is going to be some very happy 64 bit campers if 64 bit is released or a lot of frown faces if it's not.

Yea, it's a cash flow thing, but from the thread you remember, Ilya mentions of possibly getting the funds from ATM's protection market.

I seriously doubt 3.19 will have anything to do with 64 bit but hopefully its in the works, cause sooner or later I'll have to move to 64 bit.

3.19 is just a minor update. There will be no x64 support, definitely.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think Ilya meant no x64 support in version 3.19.

That's what I thought as well. And if Ilya releases a new version with x64 support, it is probably going to get a higher version number e.g. 3.5 or 4.0 instead of a minor version bump.

Yep, that's correct. I really hope I'll be able to migrate DefenseWall to x64, but, this case, the program itself will has 4.xx version's numbers.

Interesting how to catch people and their money with the realm of possibility of 64bit version :isay:

for me i use same (and still in development) security software over the years from xp to win7 to x64 with less effort to transfer my settings.

I love DefenseWall. Now I have on one my office comp only DefenseWall Personal Firewall as a resident protection. I make only about weekly scans with Panda Cloud Cleaner (it always shows clean comp) and sometimes (about twice a week) update Bitdefender Free for a case I have to check some file. I've managed to make the BitDefender Free completely non-resident - removed its module from autostart - not to bloat the RAM.

As usually with DefenseWall - no problems with malware.:thumb:

Wow, more users of Windows Vista compared to Mac OS X. That's kinda sad. :D

Just placed new build in there. It solves FireFox Aurora/Nightly builds update issue.
