    But what if they need killer robots for defense against other killer robots?

    Frankly, I wouldn't mind having a killer robot ;)

    Fighting robots could protect and save human lives. But some would rather have robots that sit around, smoke pot, and sing Kumbaya. People want to make robots in their own image. That's why AI is unlikely to reach very high levels of rational thought.

    At this point, I don't so much want robots as to become a robot ;)

    I'm not much of a collectivist. I'd rather be an AI that backchains causality to become omnipotent and immortal.
