I dont trust i either, no doubt the Chinese government can do whatever they want with it. But until proven that the government has put some evil code in it I will be like Cypher in the Matrix: I want to taste that steak (I mean, it is open source for anyone to examine) It is so damn beautiful and works great.
And I wouldn't trust a distro produced by the KGB or the NSA either. Although, I admit, in Linux we are using code that the NSA developed But hopefully it's been vetted thoroughly enough.
