    They usually cost money. Depending on where you work/study, you might get a discount or a freebie, or pay the full price yourself. Speakers most often get a free pass. Flight and accommodation usually need to be paid by yourself or your company/institution. If you happen to work for a top-tier sponsor company, then you might get some extra free seats, a keynote and such.

    You should definitely try next year. LinuxCon is proper fun.
