I am working with a laptop that I used Truecrypt to encrypt the whole drive.

Windows no longer boots so (using a different computer) I created a Truecrypt recovery disk and I decrypted the drive (or possibly just the volume(s).

If I remove the drive from he laptop and connect it to another computer 2 volumes mount up and I can access the files, so that must mean that the drive (or volume) is decrypted.

My problem is that when the drive is back in the laptop, the Truecrypt password screen comes up when booting. If the drive is decrypted then why does that screen come up? How can I get Truecrypt completely off the laptop?

Thanks for any help you can give.
