Decentraleyes

    I've only just started using the Firefox extension, "Decentraleyes" and I'm wondering what the purpose of this setting is.

    Why would anyone want to manually change how many CDN resource injections since you installed Decentraleyes?? Isn't the point to count how many? Why would you need to change this? o_O

    It's got me stuffed! :doubt:

    That's a very good question. The answer is, you probably really don't want to. :doubt:

    Firefox sees the value as an extension preference, and is attempting to be (just a little bit too) helpful. This is not Mozilla's fault, of course. These kinds of add-ons are expected have a dedicated GUI. The extension was kept as basic as possible, because WebExtensions was just around the corner. It was known back then, that they would eventually demand a complete code rewrite.
