That is correct. There is no icon like Chrome but you can still see how many times Decentraleyes has replaced content by checking the extension.
I'm using FF 52.3.0 ESR and no leaks here.

For me there is an icon but I'm using the webextension version in FF57 Nightly. However, I also had an icon in previous versions.

go "Customize" and look if the symbol is present. if not uninstall, restart firefox and install again.
the result is either fine or something is buggy.

I have looked. There is no icon on my three machines. Perhaps @NiteRanger would like the icon but I don't want or need it.
    I know.

Its not there. The FF version should behave like the Chrome version. Have an icon on the icon bar and showing the counter.

Author of Decentraleyes here. This is all a tad confusing indeed, so I'll try my best to explain the situation.

I absolutely agree. The reason that the current Firefox version is behaving differently, is that the Chrome extension serves as a foundation for the upcoming WebExtensions upgrade. It's currently available as a Firefox Nightly beta. Please read this announcement for more information on the release.

The extension rewrite depends on essential features that are not present in Firefox 55. Mozilla has been kind enough to uplift some required fixes to Firefox 56. They will likely land in 56.0b7. This means that the beta will very soon be available (in packaged and signed form) to more than just Firefox 57 users.

That's right, v2.0.0 will be the first stable version for Firefox to feature the new (optional) user interface.

    HI, standardization would be good

Have an icon in the icon bar and with a counter for indication in FF/Mozilla-based/Chrome/Chromium/Chromium-based browsers would be the best

    Thanks

Not compatible with Firefox 55.0.3? (Or should I just updated the config file?)

without changes in manifest you can do nothing - and it makes no sense - to re-sign an already signed build. up to v56 get the current, with v57+ get the beta.

I have this list in uBO from when I still used medium mode, but I now use simple mode so I guess the list can be removed?

But I do use uMatrix (again) now - should the list be added there, with '* allow'?

Something tells me I may have asked this elsewhere before, if so forgive me ... :doubt:

Yeah, there are two or three new ones.

I've never used uMatrix but I guess so. I've added them to NoScript.
