Debian / ubuntu fonts

    If you post font related screenies, you should not resize them and probably go for .png format, so that we can really see what it's all about.

    That's not anti-aliased font, welcome to Windows 95 :p I think it's monospaced too. That's pretty easy to get right imho.
    Modern fonts are a lot more difficult and I never could achieve what I want in Debian. Here a screenshot from Ubuntu default for comparison:

    I've since discovered hadrets repo with libcairo since this post. My debian fonts are now identical to the buntus.
