Hi. I am in a pickle. I installed DD10 successfully and then installed OSS on my shiny new vista 64 laptop due to a burning desire to get WinXP going. I can't see the vista 64 OS at all in OSS. I tried the solution in the 'simple solution' thread for this, but am no further forward. I copied ntldr, boot.ini and NTDETECT.COM into the C:\ directory, but OSS still can't see vista to boot it. Vista still appears to be there. Is there any way I can restore the MBR? I am not able to access installation discs as it is an HP laptop, and all I can do from a recovery perspective is to blow the whole thing away and return it to factory condition. I can probably install grub, but I would probably need access to the MBR which I am assuming that OSS has backed up? Is there anyone that can help me unstuff myself? ta. Mark.
