    New installation. Under XP SP3 and True Image Home 2009 build 9796 after using Windows explorer to browse *.Tib files a Windows Execution Prevention error is received when exiting explorer. Any fix other than turning off WEP for explorer?

    Hello jbaaremartin,

    Thank you for using Acronis True Image

    The issue needs a closer investigation. Please obtain the below information and create an e-mail request or contact Live chat service available on this page, under Contact us click on the Start here button and follow the step-by-step guide.

    1) - Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information;
    - Choose the "Save" option in the "File" menu (or "Action" menu under Windows 2000), enter the "File name" and set the field "Save as type" to "System Information File (*.NFO)";
    - Send us the saved file.

    2) Please create a screen shot of the DEP crash.

    If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

    - Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
    - Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
    - Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
    - Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
    - Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

    3) Please provide us with the details. Where are the backup files located, whether they're on internal, external, or network hard drive? Have you protected the archives with a password? If yes, are you able to reproduce the issue with unprotected archives?

    Thank you.
