My system has 2 partitions, C drive for windows and programs and D drive for data. Is their a program that can compare the contents of the old Data partition against the new Data partition to see if the data has all been written correctly after cloning with True Image, byte for byte? That is, make sure a minor hardware glitch has not caused a write error during the data transfer.

TestPath would work. Alternately, you could use any MD5 file checksum program.
