I think that the major problem with Bitcoin , and any potential advantages for privacy and anonymity , is the Blockchain . The people at Unsystem seem to be doing good work on this issue , with the development of Darkwallet , and it's inherent transaction-mixing strategy , but it looks like it's still fairly clunky right now.
