    I stopped using download.com as a source for software years ago because of all the bundled software (bloatware) with the installers. If a developer only hosted their software on download.com then I stopped using them.

    I also can't remember when I last used their service. I prefer to use direct download from developers site or FileHippo.

    Yes, I also stopped trusting download.com many years ago, but then again, you should always be wary.
