    I am still on 1.1454. I am using a trial version, but I am surprised it has not updated. I have tried manual update, but it tells me I have the latest version, and no update needed.

    What is happening?

    Sometimes with very large updates they (Eset) prioritise and have paid versions update first so as to not overload their servers, within a few days the trial versions catch up.

    Cheers :D

    I've just installed the trial version and updated it to v. 1.1458 fine. There has been no problem with prioritizing paying users for the last 2 days.

    You´re right Marcos. But you installed it. People, who already installed trial version some time before cannot update along 1.1454. They must reinstall NOD to get the newest update.

    And if you look into the update.ver, it looks this way:

    [ENGINE2]
    version=1.1454 (20060321)
    build=6954
    type=engine
    level=2
    base=6722
    date=21.03.2006
    category=engine

    With a paid version of NOD32 will one have to uninstall and reinstall periodically to update?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Well, program updates aren't as flexible as i'd expect. Especially the delay between internet update and standalone downloadable edition...

    I guess they'll fix that when they'll release their next gen software...

    We'll if we released an automatic program update for all users before the installers, I wouldn't like to be called for responsibility if a serious bug was discovered and safety of all users was jeopardized.

    It's not our intention to put our clients at risk !
