    Hey everybody!

    Merry Christmas !

I was wondering if you could help me . Newbie here when it comes to Linux... I was trying Ubuntu for a while . I have a problem in Ubuntu 10.10 desktop - it cannot read txt or doc files created previously in Windows in cyrillic - I mean the files open but the text appears as "hieroglyph" - unknown characters.
I use a lot of cyrillic as I am in Bulgaria.

Something else - where do I find music/video player to play music / videos ?

Sorry for the elementary questions and thank you in advance.:thumb:

    Merry Christmas once again !!!
